The Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul took part in the international educational festival “Turkic World: From Roots to the Future,” held on June 22 with the participation of representatives of member states of the Organization of Turkic States. This was reported by the IIC.
A Turkmen pavilion was showcased at the festival, where visitors were able to become acquainted with the country’s historical and cultural heritage, national traditions, decorative and applied arts, and modern achievements of Turkmenistan.
A separate section of the exhibition was dedicated to the motto of 2026 — “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.” Guests were presented with materials about the country’s internationally recognized status of permanent neutrality, its achievements in various fields, as well as the role of Akhal-Teke horses as one of the symbols of national heritage.
According to the organizers, the Turkmen pavilion attracted significant interest from festival participants and guests, introducing them to the centuries-old history, culture, and traditions of Turkmenistan.
