Turkmenistan took part in the first high-level regional policy dialogue ‘Building a Clean Air Future in Central Asia’ held on 19 July in Tashkent. This was reported by the IIC of Turkmenistan.

The forum, organised by the Ministry of Ecology of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the World Bank and UNEP, brought together experts and government officials from Asian and European countries.

The main topic was cooperation in the fight against air pollution. Participants from Central Asian countries discussed ways to improve the environmental situation in the region.

Turkmenistan's participation in the dialogue demonstrates its readiness for environmental cooperation and its commitment to strengthening national air protection strategies.
