Turkmenistan took part in the Gastech 2025 International Exhibition and Conference, held in Milan from 9 to 12 September. The national delegation presented comprehensive opportunities for attracting foreign investment and developing partnerships in the energy sector. This was reported by IIC.

During the presentation, special emphasis was placed on the country's fourth place in the world in terms of natural gas reserves, including the unique ‘Galkynysh’ field. Significant attention was paid to the progress of the TAPI transcontinental gas pipeline, which opens up access to promising Asian markets. New investment projects on the Caspian shelf and in the oil refining industry were also demonstrated, and Turkmenistan's commitment to the principles of sustainable development through the introduction of artificial intelligence, the development of renewable energy sources and the reduction of methane emissions was emphasised.

Gastech 2025, dedicated to the future of natural gas in the context of the energy transition, featured discussions involving more than 50,000 experts from 150 countries. Leading global companies, including Chevron, Cheniere Energy and ADNOC, confirmed the important role of gas in ensuring global energy security.

Representatives of the ‘Turkmen Energy Forum’ held a series of business meetings and invited participants to the 30th anniversary OGT 2025 International Forum in Ashgabat (22-24 October). The fact that the exhibition space is fully booked and around 300 delegates from 40 countries are expected to attend is evidence of the growing international interest in Turkmenistan's energy projects.
