President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Saeed Al Tayer, Chairman of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and Dragon Oil, and Abdulkarim Al Maazmi, Acting Chairman of Dragon Oil. This was reported by the news website Asmannews.

The businessmen thanked the Head of State for his hospitality and noted the country's successes in diversifying its fuel and energy complex and strengthening its international authority as an energy power. They also conveyed greetings and best wishes from the leadership of the United Arab Emirates.

The company representatives emphasised that Turkmenistan provides a favourable investment climate and expressed their gratitude for the support of the President of Turkmenistan and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov responded with warm wishes to the leadership of the UAE. It was noted that relations between Turkmenistan and the UAE are developing on the basis of mutual respect and trust, and that Dragon Oil has accumulated successful experience working in the country. The President of Turkmenistan confirmed the country's readiness to consider new proposals for expanding the partnership.

At the end of the meeting, the Head of State wished the delegation success and expressed confidence in the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
