On 6 November, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation with Gerhard Sailler, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to the Russian Federation. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda of mutual interest. It was emphasised that Turkmenistan and Austria maintain long-term partnership relations based on friendship, mutual understanding and respect, including cooperation within the framework of the UN, OSCE and other international organisations.

Following the meeting, the diplomats expressed confidence in the further development of cooperation for the benefit of both countries and their citizens.
