On 3 July, Turkmenistan's Foreign Affairs Minister Rashid Meredov met with Azerbaijan's Foreign Affairs Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmenistan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry.

The parties noted the high level of political dialogue and confirmed their intention to deepen cooperation in various areas. Particular attention was paid to energy, transport connectivity, trade and humanitarian contacts.

The ministers emphasised the strategic role of the two countries in regional and international corridors and expressed confidence that regular high-level contacts would contribute to the further development of the partnership.
