Shalar Geldinazarov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan resident in New Delhi, presented his credentials to Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of the Maldives, at an official ceremony at the residence of the Head of State. This was reported by the IIC of Turkmenistan.

Sh. Geldinazarov became the first Ambassador of Turkmenistan to be accredited to the Republic of the Maldives following the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in September 1992.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation, including trade and economic ties, investment and transport links. Representatives of both countries reaffirmed their interest in further strengthening their partnership.
