Turkmen Ambassador discusses cooperation with Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea

On 22 August 2025, a significant event took place in Seoul: an international conference dedicated to issues of carbon neutrality and ‘green’ development. The opening ceremony of the forum was attended by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea, B. Durdyev. This was reported by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

From the podium of the conference, Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Kim Min-seok presented the new government's programme aimed at creating a specialised industrial complex to expand the use of renewable energy sources and accelerate the transition to a ‘green’ economy.

On the sidelines of the event, the Turkmen Ambassador had a brief conversation with the Korean Prime Minister. Ambassador B. Durdyev conveyed sincere greetings and congratulations from the leadership of Turkmenistan on his appointment to the high post and expressed confidence in the further strengthening of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.

The Korean Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the warm wishes and emphasised his great interest in developing relations with Turkmenistan in a wide range of areas and fields.
