On 5 November, Turkmenistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov met with Georgia's State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality Tea Akhvlediani in Tbilisi, according to the news website Asmannews.

The parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the economy, transport, culture and education, and also focused on the protection of civil rights and equality.

The Ambassador presented the project of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.

The preparation of the International Forum in Ashgabat on 12 December, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality and the International Year of Peace and Trust, was discussed.

The participants of the meeting expressed their readiness to further strengthen bilateral ties and expand cooperation.
