Turkmenistan participated in the EU-Central Asia Dialogue on Afghanistan in Brussels

On 12 November, Sapar Palvanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Belgium, took part in the seventh meeting of the EU-Central Asia Dialogue on Afghanistan, which was held in Brussels. This was reported by the news resource TerraNews.

The event was attended by representatives of countries in the region and European Union institutions. Participants discussed issues of sustainable development, strengthening regional connectivity, humanitarian support and practical areas of cooperation with Afghanistan.

Speaking at the forum, Sapar Palvanov presented Turkmenistan's balanced position, based on the principles of positive neutrality and good neighbourliness.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan stressed that the sustainable development of Afghanistan is an important condition for ensuring stability in the region. According to him, this can be achieved through the promotion of economic integration, the expansion of humanitarian cooperation and the implementation of infrastructure projects aimed at improving the living conditions of the population.
