Turkmenistan widely celebrated the 34th anniversary of its independence. The main celebrations took place on the square in front of the State Tribune, where a military parade was held with the participation of all branches of the armed forces and a demonstration of modern military equipment. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The parade included a procession of military personnel, cadets, female soldiers, special forces and cavalry. Samples of modern ground, naval and aviation equipment were presented, including tanks, artillery, drones and combat aircraft.

The celebrations continued with festive platforms symbolising the successes of regions and economic sectors, from education and healthcare to energy, construction and sport.

The highlight of the celebrations was a procession of horsemen on Ahal-Teke horses, concerts by orchestras and performances by athletes.
