On 19 July, Turkmenistan's Foreign Affairs Minister Rashid Meredov had a phone talk with Mohamed Ali Nafti, the Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Minister of the Republic of Tunisia. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmenistan Foreign Affairs Ministry.

The parties held a substantive conversation, during which they reviewed the current state of bilateral cooperation and possible areas for its development.

One of the key topics was the discussion of preparations for the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3).
