On May 6, 2025, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, M. Byashimova, held a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Amer bin Ali Al-Shehri. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the negotiations, the sides reviewed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, discussed cooperation in the political, trade and economic spheres, analysed cooperation within the framework of international organisations, including the UN. Attention was paid to strengthening the legal framework. The representatives also exchanged views on the development of cultural and humanitarian co-operation.

The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and contributed to deepening mutual understanding between the two countries.
