The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting on the development of partnership with the Institute of Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar. Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan G.Yusupova held talks with the director of the Qatari Institute Mohamed Al-Horri, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in an international conference. Qatar's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan Hamad bin Rashid bin Hamad Al-Azbi also took part in the meeting. This is reported by the IIC.

The key outcome of the talks was the signing of the Roadmap for the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions for 2025. This document provides for the development of joint educational programmes, scientific research and exchanges aimed at training qualified diplomatic personnel.

The sides emphasised the importance of strengthening professional ties between future diplomats of Turkmenistan and Qatar, which will contribute to further deepening of bilateral cooperation in various spheres.
