On 19 August, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Myahri Byashimova held a meeting with the Ambassador of the State of Palestine Rana Abu Hijleh, during which the course towards deepening partnership in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres was confirmed. This was reported by the IIC.

During the negotiations, the diplomats conducted a detailed review of the current state of bilateral relations, paying particular attention to the prospects for the development of trade and economic interaction and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The Palestinian diplomat expressed deep gratitude to the Turkmen side for its consistent humanitarian support to the Palestinian people. Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening intergovernmental dialogue on key areas of cooperation.
