Nury Golliyev, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic, met with Altynbek Rysbekov, Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan. The parties discussed prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, according to the IIC of Turkmenistan.

During the negotiations, particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation in the electricity sector and the fuel and energy complex, as well as to the implementation of joint projects.

The participants noted that the energy sector remains one of the key areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan. The parties reaffirmed their interest in further strengthening their partnership and continuing regular dialogue on issues of mutually beneficial cooperation.
