On 8 November, Turkmenistan's Foreign Affairs Minister Rashid Meredov held negotiations with Hamid Ghanbari, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Economic Affairs. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmenistan Foreign Affairs Ministry.

The nnegotiations were a continuation of the ongoing cooperation between the diplomatic departments of the two countries.

The parties discussed the prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on a number of areas of mutual interest.
