Turkmenistan's Ambassador Hemra Amannazarov met with Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of the Czech Republic Jiri Kozak. The main topic of the talks was the preparation for the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3), which will be held on 5-8 August 2025 in the ‘Avaza’ National Tourist Zone. This was reported by the IIC.

This large-scale event will bring together representatives of landlocked countries, international organisations and development partners to discuss current challenges and seek ways to achieve sustainable growth. During the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas of cooperation aimed at supporting the economic and social progress of vulnerable countries.

Turkmenistan and the Czech Republic confirmed their readiness to work closely together on the international stage to ensure the success of the conference. The forum in Avaza is expected to become an important platform for developing effective solutions in the interests of landlocked countries.
