Within the framework of the XXIV International Multinational Exhibition and Conference ‘White City Ashgabat’ on 24 May, Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev held a meeting with Director General of Inspur Software of the People's Republic of China Zhao Shaoxiang. It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

According to the source, during the meeting Gurbangeldiev presented the programmes implemented in the country to improve the quality of the education system, including the ‘Concept of Development of Digital Education System’, and stressed the importance of cooperation with China in this area.

In turn, Zhao Shaoxiang shared China's experience in digital transformation of education and expressed readiness for cooperation. He also noted the established co-operation with the Turkmen association ‘Aýdyň gijeler’. Following the talks, the meeting participants expressed confidence in further strategic partnership between the two countries.
