During his visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with Ahmet Chalik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ‘Çalık Holding’ Group. This was reported by the news agency TDH.

Ahmet Chalik expressed his gratitude for the meeting and the invitation to the World Ahal-Teke Equestrian Championships. He noted that he considered the meeting with Hero Arkadag in the Netherlands a great honour.

The Turkish businessman also spoke of his impressions of the events dedicated to Ahal-Teke horses and held as part of the World Championships.

Hero Arkadag emphasised that the inaugural Ahal-Teke World Equestrian Championships would contribute to further rapprochement between countries and peoples.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey, as well as cooperation with leading companies. Hero Arkadag noted that Turkmenistan’s foreign economic strategy is based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit and mutual understanding.

Ahmet Chalik assured that ‘Çalık Holding’ would continue to fulfil its contractual obligations responsibly.
