Turkmenistan and Belarus discussed current issues relating to cooperation

On 30 September 2026, a meeting took place at the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan between Myahri Byashimova, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Turkmenistan, and Stanislav Chepurnoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan. This was reported by the press office of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, including in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Particular attention was paid to preparations for the upcoming events at the ‘Awaza’ National Tourist Zone as part of Turkmenistan’s chairmanship of the CIS.
