Athletes from Turkmenistan won four medals at the Asian Wrestling Championship (U23) held in Vung Tau, Vietnam. This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

In freestyle wrestling, Alp Arslan Begenjov (up to 79 kg) won silver, while Vatan Annaorazov (up to 74 kg) and Soltan Sanjar Begenjov (up to 86 kg) took bronze. In Greco-Roman wrestling, Didar Orazberdiyev won the bronze medal in the 72 kg category.

The competition will continue until 26 June. Then athletes under 17 years of age will join the battle for medals.
