Second-year students S. Hojaniyazova and R. Miriyeva from the Faculty of Agronomy at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute took second place at the international student competition ‘Environmental Safety’. The competition was organised by Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (Russian Federation), according to the university’s website.

The academic supervisor was H. A. Kazakova, a lecturer at the Department of Horticulture and Vegetable Growing.

A celebratory event was held at the Faculty of Agronomy in honour of the victory. The students were presented with commemorative gifts from the university branch of the Magtymguly Youth Organisation.
