The Football Federation of Turkmenistan (FFT) is actively developing cooperation with the Asian Football Confederation in the field of refereeing. As part of this work, Turkmen futsal referee Didargeldi Kovusov took part in an AFC seminar at the Referee Academy in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), according to the IIC of Turkmenistan.

The seminar is part of the AFC Referees Academy's annual programme, which includes four modules with theoretical and practical classes to develop decision-making skills on the field.

The final test will determine which referees will be included in the AFC's elite list of futsal referees and will be able to work at international tournaments under the auspices of FIFA and the AFC.

D. Kovusov's participation reflects the priority of the FFT – systematic training and professional development of national referees to ensure a high level of refereeing and successful representation of Turkmenistan on the international stage.
