Specialists from the ‘Morinzhgeologia’ Service Group climbed the western (5,642 m) and eastern (5,621 m) peaks of Elbrus, where they raised the National Flag of Turkmenistan ahead of the 34th anniversary of the country's independence. The two peaks of the ancient volcano, connected by a high mountain ridge, are a symbol of the Caucasus and the highest points in Europe. This was reported by the online publication ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

This achievement is a continuation of a long-standing tradition: Turkmen climbers have previously conquered the highest peaks of five continents, including Everest (8,848 m) in 2019 and Chogori (8,611 m) in 2024. The National Flag was raised on each of them.

‘Morinzhgeologia’, working with international energy companies Petronas Carigali and Dragon Oil, thus demonstrates not only professional achievements in geological exploration on the Caspian shelf, but also dedication to national traditions. The holding company successfully cooperates with leading oil and gas companies in the region, including LUKOIL, KazMunayGas and SOCAR.
