President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Hero of Turkmenistan, poet and mentor Amangozel Shagulyeva on her 85th birthday, noting that the anniversary coincides with the International Year of Peace and Trust. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the poet good health, prosperity and success. The Head of State emphasised the poet's contribution to the development of national literature, patriotic education of young people and strengthening cultural traditions.

The President of Turkmenistan noted that her works, which celebrate the country's achievements and the unity of the people, are performed at national celebrations and are highly valued abroad.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov recalled the state awards awarded to A. Shagulyeva, her role in training a new generation of authors and popularising Turkmen literature in the world. The Head of State expressed confidence that the poet would continue to inspire young writers and delight the people with new works.
