On 1 December, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening of a new livestock complex belonging to the state-owned enterprise ‘Altyn Halka’ and familiarised himself with the upgrades to the material and technical base of the water management system. This was reported by TDH.

The complex includes an administrative building, a digital control centre, a laboratory, a canteen, a milking parlour, buildings for 500 head of cattle and 200 calves, veterinary and quarantine units, a feed warehouse and premises for equipment. All processes are controlled through a digital system: animal data is stored on chips, cameras record activity on the premises, and monitoring is carried out in real time.

The laboratory is equipped with equipment from the United States, Japan, Germany, Poland and Bulgaria. It is used to analyse feed and milk: moisture, acidity, composition and nutritional indicators are measured.

The complex's management was given new equipment: tractors, ‘John Deere’ grain and forage harvesters, specialised machines and motor vehicles manufactured in China and Japan.

The President of Turkmenistan also visited the Altyn Asyr Turkmen Lake Management and Supervision Department. Here, he inspected new water management equipment purchased from ‘Shantui Construction Machinery FZE’. The department reported that the equipment will be used in the construction and operation of water supply facilities and hydraulic structures.

The Head of State noted that the commissioning of the complex and the renewal of water management equipment are part of the planned modernisation of the agricultural sector.
