The opponents of the Turkmenistan national ice hockey team at the 2026 World Championship have been revealed. Based on the results of previous tournaments and the new team distribution, the Turkmen national team will compete in Group A of Division II. This is reported by the International Information Centre of Turkmenistan.

Among the opponents of the Turkmen athletes are the national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, the Republic of South Africa, as well as two new teams in the division: the national team of Mexico, which has risen from a lower tier, and Thailand, which has fallen from Group B of Division I.
