A round table was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 17 September this year. The event was dedicated to two key events: the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust and the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was attended by diplomatic mission staff and representatives of the Turkmen diaspora living in Saudi Arabia. Participants were given a detailed account of the large-scale work being carried out in Turkmenistan as part of the International Year of Peace and Trust.

Particular attention was paid to the significance of the Halk Maslahaty meeting scheduled for 19 September in Ashgabat for the country and the Turkmen people. At the end of the event, guests were shown a video demonstrating Turkmenistan's achievements in various fields and its contribution to strengthening global stability.
