Sapar Palvanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Belgium, met with Tokozile Xasa, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Belgium. The parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation, according to the online news resource TerraNews.
The meeting was also attended by Mouctar Bah, President of Brussels-Africa Hub. The parties discussed cooperation in energy, agriculture, logistics and port management. S. Palvanov highlighted Turkmenistan's projects in the field of renewable energy, while the South African Ambassador emphasised the opportunities for technology exchange.
Business missions between the countries, preparations for the G20 summit in South Africa and energy security events were discussed. It was also proposed to create a new format for dialogue between the ambassadors of African and Central Asian countries in Brussels to strengthen interregional cooperation.
