On June 17, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, Atajan Movlamov, attended the opening ceremony of the “MedHealth & Beauty Expo 2026” held in Islamabad. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.
The event was organized by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The official opening was attended by the Minister of National Health Services of Pakistan, the Minister of Railways, as well as members of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.
The exhibition brought together participants from the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical technology, beauty, and wellness industries, serving as a platform for presenting new developments, services, and innovative solutions in the sector.
On the sidelines of the expo, representatives of several leading Pakistani pharmaceutical companies held talks with A. Movlamov. The Pakistani side expressed interest in expanding mutual cooperation with Turkmenistan, noting the promising potential of joint projects in the pharmaceutical sector.
