Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Dilrabo Mansuri, speaking at the conference ‘The Role of Women in Modern Society: Promoting International Cooperation for Sustainable Development’ in the ‘Awaza’ National Tourist Zone, emphasised the importance of strengthening the role of women in society. D. Mansuri noted that improving the status of women is a priority for Tajikistan, and President Emomali Rahmon ensures equal opportunities for women in all spheres.

The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the ideas of the conference will be implemented through programmes and initiatives aimed at developing women's leadership in the economy, education, culture and public administration. According to her, systematic support for women contributes not only to improving their situation, but also to the sustainable development of society as a whole.
