Schoolchildren from Turkmenistan won six medals at the 29th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (JBMO-2025), held in Struga (North Macedonia) from 24 to 29 June. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

All members of the Turkmenistan team returned home with awards: one gold, four silver and one bronze medal. The Olympiad brought together 135 participants from 23 countries.

The success of the Turkmen team highlights the high level of school education and the state's attention to the development of education and scientific interests among young people.
