President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in a ceremony dedicated to the successful completion of the grain harvest. The Head of State congratulated farmers and tenants on this important achievement in the country's agricultural sector. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The event was attended by members of the government, khakims of velayats and children. Children from all regions of the country congratulated the President of Turkmenistan, read poems and received gifts on behalf of the Head of State.

During the ceremony, farmers presented Serdar Berdimuhamedov with a carpet as a symbol of agricultural development. The President of Turkmenistan took a commemorative photo with the children and expressed his gratitude for their congratulations.

It was noted that Turkmenistan continues to modernise its agriculture, introduce advanced technologies, build processing complexes, and that agricultural products are in demand both within the country and abroad.

The President of Turkmenistan emphasised that grain farmers had delivered more than 1.4 million tonnes of wheat and wished all workers in the industry further success.
