Regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers was held in Turkmenistan

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system. Issues of state administration and industry projects were discussed, according to TDH.

Chairwoman of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova reported on preparations for the parliamentary session on 22 November. The draft laws ‘On the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2026,’ ‘On Virtual Assets,’ ‘On Scientific Intellectual Property’ (new edition), documents on the ratification of international treaties and amendments to current legislation will be submitted for discussion. The acceptance of the credentials of the Ambassador of the Republic of Niger was announced. Representatives of the Mejlis participated in a number of international events in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Hojamyrat Geldimyradov presented a draft Roadmap for the regulation of virtual assets and the introduction of mining technologies for 2026-2030. The document includes the formation of a legal and technological framework, the study of international experience, infrastructure development, investment attraction and cybersecurity measures.

The President of Turkmenistan approved the creation of a State Commission and instructed that work continue.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the modernisation of the gas pipeline systems of the State Concern ‘Türkmengaz’. The work is aimed at increasing the reliability of natural gas supplies within the country and for export.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tanryguly Atahallyev reported on seasonal campaigns. Winter wheat fields continue to be tended, and cotton, rice and sugar beets are being harvested. Measures are being taken to improve water supply and land reclamation.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Baymyrat Annamammedov reported on measures to increase the capacity of the enterprises of the State Concern ‘Türkmenhimiýa’. Work is underway to strengthen the material and technical base of the plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas in Ahal.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyev reported on the modernisation of the enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry and cooperation with foreign companies. The President of Turkmenistan supported the proposal to strengthen the material and technical base.

Deputy Chairwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bahar Seyidova presented information on the restoration work carried out on a number of historical and cultural monuments as part of the State Programme for 2022-2028. The third issue of the international collection ‘Traces of Centuries’ has been prepared for printing. The processing of archaeological materials found for transfer to museums is continuing.

Deputy Chairwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva reported on the sending of young citizens of Turkmenistan to study at universities in the People's Republic of China and Hungary. The President of Turkmenistan approved the proposal for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Affairs Minister Rashid Meredov reported on preparations for the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan on 24–25 November. The President of Turkmenistan instructed that all organisational measures be taken.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Mammethan Chakyev reported that JSC ‘Turkmenistan Airlines’ had received the status of an active member of the International Air Cargo Association (TIACA). The President of Turkmenistan approved the proposal to expand cooperation with foreign airlines.
