On 26 October, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Turkmenistan Narine Sahakyan. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The parties discussed the implementation of the cooperation framework between Turkmenistan and UNDP for 2026-2030. The document covers issues of public administration, digital transformation, economic development, environmental protection and social affairs.

Special attention was paid to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, implementing joint projects and expanding practical interaction with regard to national priorities of Turkmenistan.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in further strengthening the partnership.
