On 29 June, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Haruo Nagamatsu, Chairman of the Board of Governors of ‘Toyo Engineering’ Corporation. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The guest thanked for the reception, noted the architectural beauty of the capital and congratulated the Head of State on the anniversary of the founding of the city of Arkadag.

During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation between ‘Toyo Engineering’ and Turkmenistan were discussed, in particular in the oil and gas and chemical industries.

The Head of State expressed readiness to expand partnership and consider new projects.

The sides emphasised the strategic nature of relations between Turkmenistan and Japan, covering politics, economics and humanitarian spheres. At the end of the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan wished H. Nagamatsu success in his work.
