During his working trip to the Balkan velayat, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ‘Çalık Holding’, according to the news website Asmannews.

The parties discussed the development of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation and joint projects in energy, construction, textiles and other industries.

Particular attention was paid to the construction of a combined cycle power plant on the Caspian Sea coast for the export of electricity, as well as a urea plant with a capacity of 1.155 million tonnes per year in the Balkan velayat.

Ahmet Çalık thanked the President of Turkmenistan for his trust and confirmed ‘Çalık Holding’s readiness to continue working on infrastructure and industrial projects in Turkmenistan.
