Esen Aydogdyev has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Canada on a concurrent basis. The relevant Decree was signed by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, according to the TDH news agency.

Esen Aydogdyev, Turkmenistan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United States (based in Washington), has also been appointed Turkmenistan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Canada.

E. Aydogdyev was appointed Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the US in March this year; prior to that, he headed the country’s diplomatic mission in Russia.
