On 23 September, Myratgeldi Seyitmammedov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Qatar, held a meeting with Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Minister of Municipalities of Qatar. This was reported by the Orient news agency.

During the conversation, the Turkmen side emphasised the significance of proclaiming 2025 as the ‘International Year of Peace and Trust’ in Turkmenistan and noted the international events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country's permanent neutrality.

In addition, the interlocutors discussed a number of issues that are important for strengthening bilateral relations and developing mutually beneficial cooperation between the two states.
