Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Esen Aydogdiyev met with State Counsellor of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev on 15 May. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.

According to the source, within the framework of the meeting E.Aydogdiyev presented M.Shaimiev with gold and silver signs of Turkmenistan ‘300 years of Magtymguly Fragi’ on behalf of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

This event demonstrates the recognition of M.Shaimiev's contribution to the foundation of friendly ties, as well as economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

In addition, E.Aydogdiyev wished the State Counsellor of Tatarstan good health and new successes in his multifaceted political activities on behalf of Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
