Representatives of the National Research University “Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers” of the Republic of Uzbekistan have completed a professional internship in Turkmenistan. This was reported by the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The internship took place from May 16 to June 1 within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University.
The program involved 19 students and two faculty members from the Uzbek university. They visited enterprises in the agricultural and water management sectors, including the Hydropark water pumping station and the production enterprise “Obakhyzmat” in the Ak Bugday district. They also took part in lectures and practical classes organized by faculty members of the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University.
A cultural program was also arranged for the guests, including visits to the International Scientific and Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the State Central Botanical Garden, and the “Tashkent” park in the capital.
At the end of the visit, the Uzbek delegation expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for organizing the internship. A reciprocal visit by faculty members and students of the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University to Uzbekistan is planned in the near future.
