A large-scale autumn planting campaign was held in Turkmenistan, during which 449,464 tree seedlings were planted across the country. This was reported by the news agency TDH.

The campaign was launched by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who personally planted a 12-year-old Turkmen juniper tree. During the campaign, work was also carried out to care for almost two million previously planted trees. The activities included cleaning and landscaping parks, forests and areas at the foot of the mountains.

The selection of tree species was carried out taking into account local soil and climatic conditions, which contributes to the expansion of green areas and the strengthening of the country's environmental sustainability.
