Over the past week, 26 transactions were recorded on the Turkmenistan Stock Exchange. Foreign companies from the UAE, Afghanistan, Georgia and Uzbekistan purchased base oil and polypropylene produced by ‘Türkmennebit’, according to IIC of Turkmenistan.

Cotton yarn, wheat flour, licorice root extract and bed linen sets were also sold abroad. The total value of export transactions exceeded US$4 million.

On the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased base oil, polypropylene, technical sulphur, wheat flour, crude fatty acids from cotton linters, cotton fabric and textile waste. The value of domestic transactions amounted to over 124.8 million manats.
