At the International Forum in Ashgabat, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, emphasized the importance of responsible use of the media. This was reported by the publication «Turkmenistan: Golden Age».

Hero Arkadag stated that informational dialogue is a key element of the Peace and Trust initiatives, as well as the «Dialogue — Guarantee of Peace» concept proposed by Turkmenistan. According to him, mass media should serve exclusively constructive purposes.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also stressed the need to protect the media space from cybercrime and to prevent the spread of biased materials.
