On 24 July, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov warmly congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, wishing him good health and success, and also conveyed congratulations on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
