The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the city of Arkadag, where he familiarised himself with the projects for the second phase of construction and plans for reconstruction. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

During the visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was presented with projects for a production complex, road and transport infrastructure facilities, entrance gates on ‘Ahalteke atlary’ Avenue, and a water supply system from a complex of storage ponds. The Hero Arkadag also familiarised himself with the range of products of the ‘Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment’ medical cluster, including baby food, antiseptic materials and internationally recognised dental products.

During the inspection, the National Leader of the Turkmen people suggested some adjustments. The Chairman of Halk Maslahaty emphasised the importance of the rational placement of social and industrial facilities, the need to take into account the ecological and climatic features of the region, as well as the requirement for construction and decorative materials to comply with international standards and national architectural traditions. The National Leader of the Turkmen people paid special attention to the design of the entrance gates and the selection of the colour scheme for roofing materials.

The priority of quality and timeliness of the second phase of construction was noted separately, as well as the need for coordination between relevant agencies. The development of industrial and social infrastructure, as well as the acceleration of the implementation of a large-scale urban development project, were identified as important tasks.

Concluding his visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished success in the implementation of the tasks set and noted that the construction of the city of Arkadag should comply with modern urban development standards and contribute to the comprehensive development of the country.
