The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has approved the composition of the Council of Elders under the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The decision was made in accordance with the fund's Charter and the Regulations governing the Council of Elders, as well as to ensure the organisational support of its work. The Council of Elders will play a key role in coordinating the Fund's activities and supporting children in care.

The Hero Arkadag emphasised the importance of strengthening the institution of the Council of Elders for the effective management of projects aimed at helping children in need of special support and care.
