On 26 September, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ‘Çalık Holding’, who arrived to attend the celebrations marking the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

Ahmet Çalık expressed his gratitude for the meeting, congratulated the Hero Arkadag on Independence Day and conveyed his congratulations to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. He noted the large-scale transformations in the country and emphasised the company's contribution to the construction of a urea complex in the Balkan velayat.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the successful development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Turkey, highlighting ‘Çalık Holding’s participation in projects in the energy, construction, textile and healthcare sectors. The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasised the importance of introducing innovative technologies and expressed confidence in further cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue joint projects, and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished Ahmet Çalık success in his work.
