Turkmenistan’s football club "Arkadag" drew 0–0 with Iran’s "Gol Gohar" in the third round of the AFC Champions League Two group stage. The match was played in Hisor, Tajikistan, reports IIC.

"Arkadag" created several dangerous chances in the first half. In the 27th minute, defender Arzuvguly Sapargulyyev took a shot from 25 metres, then sent the ball over the crossbar four minutes later.

The Turkmen side continued to attack after the break. In the 71st minute, Meylis Diniyev headed the ball towards goal following a free kick. Later, Rakhman Myratberdiyev had a chance to score from close range, but "Gol Gohar" goalkeeper Farzin Garousian saved the shot.

After three rounds, "Arkadag" have four points, while "Gol Gohar" have two. The top two teams in each group qualify for the round of 16.

The teams will meet again in Turkmenistan on 4 November. "Arkadag" will then face Bahrain’s "Al-Muharraq" away on 25 November before hosting the UAE’s "Al-Jazira" on 9 December.
